As we travel the world we are keenly aware of our impact on the places we visit. We have a social responsibility to make certain our carbon footprint is nowhere to be seen. But our social responsibility reaches far beyond the obvious. Through our non-profit organization, Rural Education and Development (READ Global – http://www.readglobal.org) we have built close to 50 library/community centers in rural villages of Nepal and India, combining education and enterprise, and providing tools and resources to help communities build an economic base to sustain their own prosperity. It is travel with a purpose. We do it one person, one village, one country at a time.
